Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) was a Swedish designer celebrated for his multifaceted work. Trained as a carpenter and architect, he collaborated with influential designers and founded Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in 1951. Inspired by nature, especially Sweden's south, he created innovative lighting designs using materials like wood shavings. His soft, practical designs are iconic, produced by Ellysett AB.
