Maruni

Maruni Wood Industry, founded by Takeo Yamanaka, emerged from traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Initially focused on modernizing furniture production, Maruni achieved international acclaim. In 2004, the "nextmaruni" project involved global designers, fostering a fusion of culture and industry. This led to the "Hiroshima" series, emphasizing timeless designs. Today, Maruni, guided by designers like Naoto Fukasawa, Jasper Morrison, and Cecilie Manz, aims to be a global brand synonymous with Japanese furniture craftsmanship.
